You can either update a domain name with an existing nameserver or create a new nameserver. You should have a minimum of two nameservers for each domain.
To update a domain name with existing nameservers:
- Select 'Domains-Modify Domain' and enter the domain you want to update
- Select the "delete" checkboxes to the right of each existing nameserver
(do not confirm the changes yet!)
- Add the first nameserver you want to add and select "AddNS"
- Repeat for each additional nameserver that you want to add
- Select "Continue"
- Select "Confirm" to finalize the new nameservers
To create new nameservers:
This is a rare event for most users. If the nameserver is already being used to host other domains, then you do not need to provide the IP addresses for the nameservers.
